Becoming a new mom is beautiful, a bit mysterious, and sometimes a little overwhelming. You’re not just getting used to a new little human, but also to a whole new way of life, filled with so much love and new responsibilities.
You may find yourself asking, “Will this get easier?”
At first, everything is a whirlwind. As you navigate the newborn stage, your days and nights might blur together. You’ll discover an inner strength fueled by love, even when exhaustion sets in.
The first few months you’re learning about the unique needs and preferences of your baby. How and when baby likes to eat, how to soothe baby, how to get baby to fall asleep, when and how to change diapers, etc. And your baby wrap becomes a daily wardrobe staple.
Remember: it’s not just okay, it’s normal to feel overwhelmed. Every single day, as you go with the flow of your baby’s needs, just remember each challenge you face is taking you through the different phases of your baby’s life.
As the newborn phase evolves into the infant stage, there’s a harmony of milestones to look forward to β the first genuine smile, that heart-melting giggle, the sweet eye contact. With increased mobility and budding communication, your baby starts to engage more with the world around them.
Your role as a mother continues to be central to your baby’s universe. As your baby starts to sleep for longer stretches and delight in the environment, you’ll often catch a glimpse of growth in real-time.
When the toddler stage arrives, personality blooms, words begin to form, steps turn into sprints, and the world opens up as a playground of discovery.

You are still the center of your child’s universe, and self-sufficiency is blooming!
